The first sunny day out in Seattle brought everyone to the Ballard Farmers Market. Very good energy here, and the food from the stands was delicious.
Gasworks Park
Rainy day at Gasworks Park in Seattle, but that did not stop the dedicated runners and myself from visiting.
Museum of Flight
With most of my photography experience consisting of plants and animals, it was really challenging at first to take pictures of subjects that are so large. You really have to pick a piece of it to avoid a picture that’s too documentary.
Ballard Fisherman’s Terminal
This is my first time doing any kind of black and white photography. When looking for subjects that wound work well in this format I found myself focusing a lot more textures and shapes than I normally would. There’s a great seafood market here as well, picked up some of the best salmon I’ve ever gotten after the shoot.
Greenlake
Greenlake is one of my favorite places to take pictures due to its easy access and abundance of trees and wildlife.
Washington Arboretum
Gorgeous day at Washington Arboretum, a real treat given that it was cradled between typical October Seattle weather.
Bellevue Botanical Garden
I went to the Bellevue Botanical Garden in mid-October. Capturing the season is always fun so definitely went for that on this outing.
